My recent stay at La Sloda in Forno di Zoldo was a delightful surprise. The hostess, mindful of my injured knee, graciously upgraded me to a spacious room on the first floor. The modern bathroom was a welcome touch in this historical setting, with a shower that actually keeps the water where it belongs. The breakfast spread was simple yet satisfying, with a variety of fresh bread, fruit juice, and delicious homemade jams and honey. And let's not forget the individual espresso maker for that perfect morning pick-me-up. Plus, at just EUR 46 a night, this place offers unbeatable value compared to other hotels in the area.For those seeking outdoor adventures, La Sloda is perfectly situated for hiking, skiing, and cycling. The tidy rooms and welcoming host make for a comfortable stay, while the nearby restaurant serves up mouthwatering dishes that shouldn't be missed.
